November Author of the Month — Katrina Liu
Katrina Liu is a Chinese-American and Taiwanese author and the founder of Lychee Press, dedicated to enhancing bilingual Chinese children's literature and improving Asian representation. Regretting not being fluent in Mandarin Chinese, she is committed to instilling a deep connection to Chinese heritage in her children. Liu's writing career began with a mission to address the lack of engaging bilingual books. Her goal is to help families introduce their children to the richness of the Chinese language and culture, while also aiming to normalize the representation of Asians in everyday stories.
